This Privacy Policy explains what information NutriChat ("we", "us", "our") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the NutriChat app and website.

What We Collect

• Account info: Email, name, date of birth, height, weight, biological sex
• Health data: Meals, nutrition logs, weight, any health data you share via chat
• Chat messages: Your conversations with NutriChat (used to provide the service)
• Voice recordings: Temporarily processed for transcription, not stored permanently
• Payment info: When you subscribe to Pro, payments are processed by our payment provider (Razorpay). We do not store your full card details on our servers.

How We Use It

• To provide nutrition tracking and AI chat features
• To calculate your calorie goals and show trends
• To improve our AI's understanding of food and nutrition
• To process subscription payments and manage your plan
• We do NOT sell your data to third parties

Third-Party Services

• Supabase: Database and authentication (data stored securely)
• OpenAI: AI processing for meal analysis and chat (messages sent for processing, subject to OpenAI's data usage policies)
• Razorpay: Payment processing for Pro subscriptions (subject to Razorpay's privacy policy)
• Google Analytics: Anonymized usage analytics, loaded only after you consent via the cookie banner

Data Security

We use row-level security, encrypted connections, and JWT authentication. Your data is isolated — no user can access another user's data.

Your Rights

• Access: View all your data in the app
• Delete: Delete your account and all data from the Profile screen, or email us. Deletion is processed within 30 days.
• Export: Coming soon
